PS Tray Factory is meant to help those users that are looking for an easy way to better organize their tray icons. It offers full control over which icons will be displayed and which will be hidden. It also offers a lot of handy additional features, such as the possibility of restoring the tray icons after an Explorer crash. This is one of my favorite additional features provided by this program, because it also happened to me a lot that I was unable to access certain tray icons after such a system error. Another interesting feature is the fact that it can change the original tray icon of an application with any other icon of your choice. PS Tray Factory can also sort the tray icons, minimize an application directly to a tray icon instead of the taskbar, or let you assign a password that will block the access to the tray menu.
Despite the fact that it offers a lot of features and functions, PS Tray Factory comes with an intuitive interface that can be easily handled by any user, may they be experienced professionals or complete beginners. Another thing that I like a lot about this program is that it lets you assign custom hotkeys to almost all the major operations that it can perform to the tray icons, such as showing them, restoring them or sorting them.
In general, this tool is great at keeping your tray icons well organized, and it's a useful addition especially on Windows systems older than Windows 7.
